Dr.
Stansberry received her Ed.D. from Oklahoma State University's
College of Education in 2001, where she served as the Director
of Technology for four years. She has served as principal
investigator for the United States Coast Guard Distance
Education Technology program and currently is co-principal
investigator for OSU's Star Schools program. Prior to her
service at OSU, Dr. Stansberry was the Media Director for
Frontier Public Schools, where her students gained national
recognition for video production and she was recognized
as Teacher of the Year. She is involved as a Master Trainer
for Oklahoma's HB1815 Telecommunications and Distance Education
Technology program and as a committee member for OSU's Telecommunication's
Faculty Advisory Committee and the Long Range Planning and
Information Technology Committee. Her research interests
include: implementation of instructional technology from
an organizational culture perspective; distance learning
practices; and the roles of library media specialists and
instructional technology coordinators in K12 schools.
